To purchase online through Sage Pay select the items you require, add them to your shopping basket and go to payments where your card details will be collected and the order finalised. Payment is not taken until your goods are dispatched

Sage Pay uses the highest level of card data security and is pvi dss level 1 compliant.

Ingredients, Nutritional information and Allergies

Some Chocolates Direct products may contain trace of nut, this will be specifically noted. Products suitable for vegetarians and vegans will be labelled accordingly.

For specific product information each product has a downloadable PDF complete with ingredients, Nutritional Information and Allergens.

We accept
Most major credit cards and debit cards. Sage Pay will not accept payments from American Express cards.


Orders with a basket value of £49.99 and over qualify for free UK mainland shipping. Shipped via Standard 3-5 day shipping to UK mainland, customers will be given the opportunity to select other shipping services.

We have multiple rates for mainland delivery in the UK to suit your requirements and we aim to ship all orders placed before 2pm on the same day during the working week;

Express: Next day or Next Day before 10.30am, Next Day AM or PM plus a Saturday delivery service.

Standard Saver Service: 3 – 5 days.

Highlands, Islands and Europe are at different rates as listed.

We aim to ship all orders placed before 2pm in a working week the same day, but during busy periods this can become the working next day.

Delivery time for orders will depend on the selected shipping option.

All shipping options are based on delivery time from the date of shipping, not date the order is placed.

Orders over £50 will receive free Standard 3-5 day delivery, all other shipping options will still be available for selection.

Deliveries to Ireland, Highlands, Offshore and Islands will usually be delivered 2 – 3 days from the day of shipping.

Deliveries to Europe will usually be delivered within 2-7 days from date of dispatch, depending on destination. Please contact us within 14 days of placing your order if it has not been received.

If your order is to be delivered within the EU, but the destination is not listed at the checkout, please get in touch with our office on 01992 526279 for a delivery cost.

We cannot deliver orders outside of the EU.

Goods are shipped with Parcelforce, DPD or Royal Mail, a signature will be required upon delivery.

You will receive an email upon dispatch of your goods for express deliveries. You will then receive an update of your order with an expected delivery time.

When Shipping to the Highlands our couriers included post codes are:

AB31-38, AB40-56, IV1-28, IV30-32, IV36-40, IV52-54, IV63, KW1-14, PA21-38, PH4-41, PH49-50

When shipping to Scottish and Offshore Islands our couriers included post codes are:

HS, IV41-49, IV51, IV55-56, KA27-28, KW15-17, PA20, PA41-49, PA60-78, PH42-44, ZE, Isle of Man, Channel Islands.


Due to the product being perishable foods we cannot accept products to be returned, this is in part due to conditions during transit and storage once they have left our premises. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic returned parcels will not be accepted into our buildings and will not be processed. We are working hard to protect our staff and customers at this time, with additional measures to stop the spread of the virus.


All sale items are first come first served and will not be re-stocked until after the sale finishes.

Due to high site traffic it is sometimes possible that you may be able to purchase an item that has just gone out of stock, in this case a member of the team will be in touch to confirm. Unfortunately we cannot hold orders for fresh stock, once its gone its gone.

In the event of a product being out of stock, this will be shown on the site, you have the opportunity to send us an e.mail so we can notify you once the product is available again. Orders are accepted once we know the product is in stock and ready to ship.

If a product is showing to pre-order only, this means the product is currently out of stock, but fresh stock will be available imminently. When pre-order is selected your order will be shipped as soon as stock becomes available.

Payment will be taken once your order is accepted and planned for dispatch.

Free Gift

Free gift will be included in orders, no action is required to select this gift.

We cannot make substitutions for free gifts.

Free gifts are only available on a whilst stocks last basis, if a free gift which becomes unavailable before your order is shipped we will substitute your gift with one of the other available gifts or in the event of there being no other gifts available a product of similar value.

Free gifts may carry a short shelf life or be a clearance line and cannot be exchanged for a different product once your order is completed.

Please note the free gift will be dispatched with your goods and cannot be sent to a separate address.


Most of our products are VAT applicable, you will be able to see how much tax has been applied to your order at the checkout and a VAT invoice is sent to you by email and placed in your order.


For maximum security your order is processed using secure server SSL 128 bit encryption.

We will hold and process the information given at the time of ordering or for competition/promotions in accordance with the GDPR guideline 25 May 2018.
We may contact you with future offers which you will be given the option to unsubscribe from within the mail.

We will not share or pass on your details to any third parties.

You are able to access your information and edit any contact preferences within your account.

Gift wrapping

Will be charged at £3.49 per item. Multi buy options are sold as 1 item and will therefore be wrapped as 1 item.

Promotion and Discount Codes

Only one code may be redeemed per purchase, if you have more than one code you wish to use please place separate orders. We retain the right to close codes early and without prior notice. Voucher codes may only be run in accordance with stock availability. Monthly discount codes will run 1 week ahead of a new month and end 1 week into the following month. All codes discount product prices only, delivery will still be charged at full rate unless stated. Discount codes apply only to retail packs - Bulk/Catering packs and hampers will not be discounted unless otherwise stated.
