In the golden 20's it was considered not proper for ladies to drink alcohol in public, Hugo Asbach overcame this by filling a miniature chocolate bottle with brandy to create a premium liquid brandy and chocolate confection that could be eaten in the city cafes.

These liqueur bottles contain full strength liqueur with a very thin sugar crust inside a milk or dark chocolate bottle.
